Fun Facts and TipsKids 8 to 12 years of age can check themselves in and out of Disney's Oceaneer Lab—at their parents' discretion. You can "Meet Your Counselors" on the large wall boards at Disney's Oceaneer Lab. Each counselor has his or her very own picture for you to see!

Inspired by Disney•Pixar's Toy Story films, Disney's Oceaneer Lab is a futuristic and fun setting starring a larger-than-life Buzz Lightyear and other characters from the hit movie series. Featuring dazzling planetary spheres, twinkling fiber-optic stars and interactive lab stations, Disney's Oceaneer Lab is a fantastic haven for children to learn, play and interact with others while Mom and Dad are on their own adventure. An endless supply of toys, games and Disney movies make Disney's Oceaneer Lab the perfect oasis at sea. Disney's Oceaneer Lab counselor-to-child ratio is one counselor to every 25 children. Dining at Disney's Oceaneer Lab Registration and Check-In When boarding the ship on Embarkation Day, both children and parents must check in at the front desk at Disney's Oceaneer Lab, on Deck 5, Midship. During this confirmation process, parents will fill out final paperwork and receive a pager in the event the counselors need to make contact. Children will receive a wristband indicating that that they are part of Disney's Oceaneer Lab, in addition to important information such name, age group, stateroom number and medical information. During the registration process, parents are invited to tour the facility, meet the counselors and learn more about the many activities offered. Parents should note that children may change locations throughout the day. When these moves (typically 15 minutes long) take place, children cannot be admitted or released from the club. Check your Personal Navigator while onboard for more information.
