Wheelchair Visitors: Vehicle access to some rides requires a transfer. It is vital to be accompanied by someone able to assist you when transferring. The Cast Members (Disney employees) are not authorised to do this. Wheelchairs can be rented at Town Square Terrasse, near the entrance to the Disneyland ® Park or at Studio Services at the entrance to the Walt Disney Studios Park. The Cast Members (Disney employees) are not permitted to accompany persons in wheelchairs. Some attractions have a designated entrance for guests with disabilities who may be accompanied by three companions. For safety reasons three attractions are not accessible for guests who are unable to walk unaided (Space Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, and Peter Pans Flight).
Visually Impaired Visitors: Guides written in Braille are available at City Hall at the entrance to the Disneyland ® Park and at Studio Services at the entrance to the Walt Disney Studios Park. You will be asked to provide proof of identity. Access to some rides requires a sighted companion. Guide dogs are the only animals allowed into the Parks. There are some attractions they are not allowed to enter for their own safety.
Visitors with Learning Difficulties: Some attractions may frighten the sensitive. Accompanying personnel are advised to take special care.
Access to the Attractions: As every attraction has different access, we would ask you to come to City Hall at the entrance to the Disneyland ® Park or at Studio Services at the entrance to the Walt Disney Studios Park. A Cast Member (a Disney employee) will advise you on the most accessible attractions and, if appropriate, will give you an assisted access card showing a list of recommended rides. This card is exclusively for the disabled and does not entitle you to priority access, but enables its bearer to use the special entrances to the rides.
Restrictions on Access: Access to certain rides is subject to size conditions, and these should be avoided by pregnant women as well as by persons with problems which might be worsened by violent acceleration (those suffering from cardiac or spinal problems, or motion sickness, for example), especially those wearing surgical collars.
Toilets: All toilets are equipped with special areas for those with mobility problems (except for Walt's - an American Restaurant).
Shops and Restaurants: All the shops and restaurants are accessible to those with mobility problems. Please don't hesitate to ask a Cast Member (Disney employee) for assistance if there's anything you can't reach.
Shows and Parades: Places are reserved for persons with restricted mobility along the routes of parades and cinemas. As the number of places is limited, you are advised to come early. The assisted access card authorises use of these places but does not give access priority. To find out the times, look at the Park guide available at City Hall in the Disneyland ® Park and at Studio Services in the Walt Disney Studios Park.
Hotels: The Disneyland Resort ® Paris Hotels have specially adapted rooms for those with restricted mobility (approximately 20 per hotel). These rooms have larger bathrooms (handrails, raised toilets), wheelchair height door viewers and double beds.
Booking: Our staff will be pleased to help you select the best package for you to explore Disneyland Resort ® Paris. Ask them to send you the Disabled Visitors Guide.
