Owing to the current exceptional circumstances we have made temporary changes to our standard terms & conditions in order to provide booking alternatives.
As this policy is subject to emergency measures, it is subject to change at any time. If the policy changes, then the policy in place at time of re-booking/cancellation will apply. Please continue to check back for updates.
If you have a holiday booked with ground arrangements only;
If you hold a reservation for a Disneyland Paris holiday for arrivals up to 14th July 2020 you have the following options available to you;
1. Re-book for future date;
Transfer 100% of the monies you have already paid to a new date. We have offers of “Up to 25% off, plus Free Dining, plus €100 Disney gift card” on selected dates through to September 2021. We recommend booking as soon as possible to get the best value and widest range of available dates
2. Hold monies paid as a “Future Credit Voucher” and make a new booking at a later date. Vouchers are state guaranteed, do not have an expiry date and can be transferred to other users.
3. Cancel and obtain a refund.
If you hold a reservation for a Disneyland Paris holiday for arrival dates from 15th July onwards you have the following options available to you;
Disneyland Paris have announced a phased reopening of the resort as of 15 July 2020, you can click here for details
Hotels will reopen in phases, beginning with the Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel on 15 July 2020, Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne on 20 July, Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe on 03 August and the Disneyland Hotel on 07 September 2020. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Hotel and Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch will remain closed during the summer with reopening dates announced at a later time. A reopening date for Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will also be announced at a later date.
If you booked with Breakaway to stay at Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel on or after 15th July, your holiday package is confirmed.
And if you have booked to stay at any of the other Disneyland Paris Hotels, for dates on/after their reopening, your holiday package is confirmed.
If your hotel has reopened and you want to change your booking to a different date or cancel your booking you can;
- Move your booking to a different date. We will cancel your original booking, without cancellation charges, and rebook you for your new dates at the current available rate.
This applies to the ground element of your booking, if you have flights booked please see below for details regarding changes.
- Cancel your booking and receive a Future Credit Voucher (FCV) for monies paid. FCV’s are state guaranteed, do not have an expiry date and can be transferred to another name.

If the Hotel you booked is not open on your arrival date, we offer 4 options:
- Maintain your arrival date and move your booking into an alternative hotel:
We are happy to offer an equivalent or superior hotel category without paying a supplement. In the case of customers staying at the Disneyland Hotel, as we do not have another Disney hotel with equivalent category, we propose to rebook at Disney’s Newport Bay Club and will refund the difference in package price between the two hotels.
- Maintain your booking in your original hotel and move it to a later date:
You can move your booking to an arrival up to 15 October 2020 (subject to availability) without incurring additional fees.
- Move your booking to a date on/after 16 October 2020.
You can cancel your current booking without fees and make a new booking at the current available rate.
- Cancel your booking without fees and receive a refund.
If you have booked a package including flights;
The ground element of your booking can be amended as detailed above
For flights booked the following airline rules currently apply;
Air France and Aer Lingus are allowing flights to be changed with no airline change fee applying. However, if there is a fare difference on the newly selected dates this will be charged. This is available for all flights booked for travel up to 30th September 2020.
Both airlines will only offer refunds in cases where they have cancelled the flight.
For flight departures after 30th September the ‘standard’ airline change and cancellation fees apply.
