Owing to the current exceptional circumstances we have made temporary changes to our standard terms & conditions in order to provide booking alternatives.
As this policy is subject to emergency measures, it is subject to change at any time. If the policy changes, then the policy in place at time of re-booking/cancellation will apply. Please continue to check back for updates.

If you have a holiday booked with ground arrangements only (without flights) ;

Disneyland Paris announced a phased reopening of the resort which commenced on 15 July 2020, you can click here for details

Hotels will reopen in phases, beginning with the Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel and Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe.
Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne also reopened but will now close on 30 September 2020 and reopen again on 03 March 2021.
The Disneyland Hotel will open on 08 December 2020
Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Hotel will reopen on 01 May 2021
Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch will remain closed until further notice
A reopening date for Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will also be announced at a later date.

If you booked with Breakaway to stay at Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel or Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe on or after 18 August, your holiday package is confirmed. 
If you booked to stay at any of the other Disneyland Paris Hotels on dates which the hotel is open then your holiday package is confirmed.

If your hotel has reopened and you want to change your booking to a different date or cancel your booking you can;

  1. Move your booking to a different date. We will cancel your original booking, without cancellation charges, and rebook you for your new dates at the current available rate.
    This applies to the ground element of your booking, if you have flights booked please see below for details regarding changes.
  2. Cancel your booking and receive a Future Credit Voucher (FCV) for monies paid. FCV’s are state guaranteed, do not have an expiry date and can be transferred to another name.
    FCV’s are only available for the ground element of your booking, see below for details regarding flights.

If the Hotel you booked is not open on your arrival date, we offer 3 options: 

  1. Maintain your arrival date and move your booking into an alternative hotel:
    We are happy to offer an equivalent or superior hotel category without paying a supplement.  In the case of customers staying at the Disneyland Hotel or at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, as we do not have another Disney hotel with equivalent category, we propose to rebook at Disney’s Newport Bay Club and will refund the difference in package price between the two hotels.

    If your booking includes a Meal Plan, we will adjust the Meal Plan to match the Hotel of your new booking:
    • If your new booking is confirmed at a higher category Hotel, the Meal Plan will be adjusted accordingly to your benefit.
    • If you are moving to a lower hotel category, we will refund the price difference taking into account the meal plan component included in the package.
  2. Move your booking to a future date:
    You can cancel your current booking without fees and make a new booking at the current available rate.
  3. Cancel your booking and receive a refund. Refunds will initially be provided in the form of a Future Credit Voucher (FCV).
    FCV’s are state guaranteed, do not have an expiry date and can be transferred to another name.
    If you do not use all or part of your FCV it can be exchanged for cash 9 months after date of issue.
    FCV’s are only available for the ground element of your booking, see below for details regarding flights.

If you have booked a package including flights;

The ground element of your booking can be amended as detailed above
For flights booked the following airline rules currently apply;

Air France and Aer Lingus are allowing flights to be changed with no airline change fee applying. However, if there is a fare difference on the newly selected dates this will be charged. This is available for all flights booked for travel up to 31st December 2020.

Both airlines will only offer refunds in cases where they have cancelled the flight.
